Stalin takes Alagiri men to task

DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin seems to have outdone elder brother and Union chemicals minister M.K. Alagiri on the latter’s turf of Madurai.

Sources said party general secretary K. Anbazhagan served show-cause notices Wednesday to 17 Madurai urban district office-bearers and known supporters of Mr Alagiri to explain their absence at a recent public meeting of Mr Stalin in the town.

The sources said the high command gave the go-ahead to the notices after two days of deliberation.
