All about masti, chai and bhutta
I studied in Sophia College, Mumbai. My college days have given me memories to cherish for a lifetime. My life seemed like a bubble of creativity and imagination till it burst when I graduated in psychology. I was always an over-enthusiastic girl as I tried my hands at
every extra-curricular activity and made sure that I gave the boys a run for their money. In fact, I got very lucky in college, as I bagged maximum ad campaigns.
However, thanks to my parents, I stayed grounded and completed my education before foraying into Bollywood. College was masti for me, enjoying chai at a Dadar Irani restaurant, spicy bhutta on a rainy day along the Marine Drive, summer camps at Karjat.
I didn’t have any romantic links in college as I was too busy concentrating on myself. I was also an avid reader and when I was not studying or fooling around, I read many autobiographies and classics. I also learnt classical dancing and singing.
I loved our girl gang evenings in the college canteen where we would enact different scenes from Hindi movies and laugh at our funny antics.
God! I still can’t believe we did all that crazy stuff, but those memories make me nostalgic. My friends’ circle wasn’t too big, but was quite a close-knit one. We still make it a point to catch up. I was a thorough prankster, who broke all the rules and I was brimming with enthusiasm and confidence during my teenage years.
