Diamond Hunter clinches a thriller

Bengaluru, Feb. 5: Michael Eshwar-trained Diamond Hunter, brilliantly ridden by Pradeep Chouhan, bagged the D.P. Sharma Memorial Sprinter Trial Stakes, the highlight of the races held here on Friday.

After tracking the pace-setting favourite Lady Duff into the straight, Diamond Hunter took over the running and held on to the lead to win by a narrow margin by staving off the strong challenge of Atlantus.
