PC’s visit to Pak off till March?
New Delhi, Feb. 5: At Nepal’s request, the Saarc home and interior ministers’ meeting, which was to be held in Islamabad on February 26-27, is likely to be postponed to March.
Home minister P. Chidambaram was to go to Pakistan for the meeting, which would have been the first high-level visit there by an Indian minister since the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
Mr Chidambaram was expected to meet his Pakistani counterpart Rehman Malik and other leaders.
This is the second time that the Saarc home ministers’ meeting has been deferred. It was first postponed from February 18 to February 26.
