PM warns of need to check price rise
New Delhi, Feb. 1: Highlighting the major problems confronting the nation, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday said terrorism and insurgency need to be tackled with a "firm and yet sensitive manner" as this was a pre-requisite to rapid economic growth.
Inaugurating the two-day annual conference of chief secretaries on Monday, Dr Singh also spoke about food security.
