Aman hits ton in Ryan’s win

Aman Gurnani hit a strokeful 105 not out and was well supported by Vineet Beniwal (56, 3/30) as Ryan Academy beat Dev Academy by 14 runs in a league match of the Pratibha U-16 cricket tournament on Monday.

Batting first, Ryan Academy posted a challenging 228/4 in 35 overs with Gurnani and Beniwal playing sensible knocks. Only Jai Ahuja (3/29) from Dev Academy made an impression on the batsmen with his incisive bowling.
Ahuja returned to lead the chase for Dev Academy with an entertaining 85 but could not find partners to support him. Akash Kumar (29) was the only other notable scorer from their side. For Ryan Academy, Beniwal (3/30) and Kartik (2/18) were the top wicket takers.
