Awasthi wins it for VJA

Vidya Jain Academy beat Ravindra Academy by eight wickets in the Satish Sharma Memorial U-17 T20 cricket tournament at the Central Secretariat grounds on Friday.

For the winners, Harsh Awasthi produced an all-round effort to fashion his team’s win. Awasthi first accounted for three wickets of Ravindra Academy for 18 runs as they were restricted to 141/7 in their 20 overs. Vivek Bhatu (45) and Siddhant Sharma’s (41) were the top scorers for Ravindra Academy.
Awasthi then came back and starred with the bat (42 not out) to guide his team home in the company of Manish Verma (68 not out).
