Bhajji keeps crowd entertained
Non-stop live music and heavy drum-beats are a part of popular culture at the SSC. But the tradition is carried on to near unbearable levels. Though there is nothing within the laws of the game to stop the band, there is a good chance the Indian team management can have a word with Sri Lanka Cricket on the issue.

Harbhajan Singh might not have had the best of days with the ball, but he certainly kept the crowd entertained on the opening day of the second Test here on Monday. Jiving to the beat of the band at the SSC, the off-spinner looked completely at ease with his moves. The sparse gathering at the eastern grass bank also had a few laughs to share as the bowler constantly chatted with them.
The Indian team has generally remained indoors after arriving in Colombo, though M.S. Dhoni and wife Sakshi reportedly went water-skiing. Dhoni and Munaf Patel were spotted in the gym while Bhajji went to Odel to shop.
Hyderabad colleagues V.V.S. Laxman and Pragyan Ojha visited the salon owned by Ramani Fernando (wife of Ranjith Fernando). Yuvraj Singh, down with flu did not venture out. The new security code ensures the players don’t go out as much as they used to.
