Deccan Chargers’ Need for speed

Not having made the best of starts to their IPL-5 campaign, former champions Deccan Chargers are clearly looking to speed things up.

Hours after completing their game against the Mumbai Indians at Vishakapatnam on Monday night, the Chargers will be on a flight to the national capital, where they are scheduled to pay a visit to the Buddh International Circuit, venue of India’s first-ever Formula One Grand Prix.

With full-time skipper Kumar Sangakkara having arrived to take up leadership duties following the Test series at home against England, the Hyderabad side are clearly looking to change gears.
