DPS, Pausangipur in Hargopal final

Man of the match Sankalp Srivastava scored 34, while Adit Pahwa picked up 3/22 in DPS, RK Puram’s two-wicket win over Modern School, Barakhamba Road, in the semi-finals of the 5th Hargopal Under-16 cricket tournament at the Modern School grounds.

In the final, DPS will face Government Senior Secondary School, Pausangipur, who beat Quetta DAV School, Nizamuddin, by 20 runs in the other semi-final.
Set to chase 142, Saurabh Kanojia and Rohan Dev Verma shared five wickets as the Pausangipur School restricted Quetta DAV to 122/6 in 20 overs. Anurag Kanojia (64 not out) was named the man of the match.
Earlier, DPS’s Srivastava and Vinayak Goyal withstood incisive spells from Himanshu Bhardwaj (3/23) and Zoravar Singh (2/19) as the team pulled off a narrow win.
