Goswami guides team to victory

Abhishek Goswami struck 76 as LB Shastri beat PMG by seven wickets in the Shalimar Ajay Mittal memorial cricket tournament at the Ashok Vihar grounds in the capital on Thursday.

Chasing 155, LB Shastri overhauled the target in 22.3 overs for the loss of three wickets, thanks to Goswami’s half century. Rajesh Tangi and Shubham Dahiya played unbeaten knocks of 32 and 22, respectively.
Earlier, PMG posted 151/6 in 30 overs on the back of Bharat Kuwar’s 91. Vicky Singh picked up 2/17 for LB Shastri.
