Govt to introduce new sports bill on Tuesday

The Union Cabinet is all set to discuss a new Sports Bill on Tuesday - a first of its kind move to bring cricket bodies under the Sports ministry.

The Bill is also being framed to look at the functioning of different sports bodies and Tuesday's debate will also explain how they can be integrated into the Sports Ministry's scope.

The Right to Information act will also be wrapped around the sporting bodies and sports federations will also be asked to submit audited reports to Parliament.
