Hasan scalps 8 on bowlers day

Hyderabad, July 23: Paramveer Singh hit an unbeaten century as Deccan Chronicle (DC) drew with SCRSA in an HCA ‘A’ division three-day league championship Round 6 match at the ECIL ground on Friday.

Batting first, DC rode on Paramveer’s 100 not out, to post 331 for 8 before declaring their innings. In reply, SCRSA were 53 for 4 at the end of the match.

In an ‘A’ division two-day league match, Sumath’s unbeaten 135 took Sporting XI to 388 for 6 against Falaknuma.

On Thursday, Mehdi Hasan scalped eight wickets as Ensconce drew with Evergreen at the NFC ground. Evergreen replied to Ensconse’s 364 with 185 and 270 in their two innings. This was Hasan’s third sucessive five-or-more-wickets haul. The left-arm spinner has taken 30 wickets in five games so far.
