India, replying to Sri Lanka’s first innings total of 425, was 180-2 at stumps on the second day of the third and final cricket Test at the P. Sara Oval on Wednesday.

Virender Sehwag was unbeaten on 97 and Sachin Tendulkar was on 40. Sri Lanka lead 1-0 in the series after winning the first Test by 10 wickets. The second match ended in a draw.
