Kanojia guides LB Shastri to win

Sourav Kanojia’s 6/54 helped LB Shastri Coaching Centre hammer Sonnet Club by 273 runs in the DDCA Under-16 Vijay Mehra cricket tournament at the Guru Gobind Singh College grounds.

Set a target of 314, Sonnet Club were bowled out for 130, as Kanojia ran through their line-up.
Earlier, Abhishek Dadwal and Japjeet Singh Randhawa scored half centuries to help LB Shastri post 313/7. Besides the two, Ankit Dadwal and Amit Rana added 52 and 57, respectively.
In the day’s second match, Gagandeep Dhuraria’s unbeaten 52 helped Ashoka Club thrash SB Youth by seven wickets.
Batting first, SB Youth were skittled out for 128 in 39 overs. Riding on Dhuraria’s knock, Ashoka Club chased down the target in 34 overs.
