Kapoor stars in FAPS win

Pallav Kapoor scalped five wickets in Frank Anthony Public School’s eight-run win over hosts Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in a Group K match of the inaugural Fast Trax Daredevils Schools Cup Twenty20 cricket tournament in the capital on Monday.

Batting first, FAPS posted 117 in 20 overs. Kapoor struck 21, while Aadil Khan contributed 26. Divyanshu Saxena (4/23) and Abhishek Sreedhar (3/19) impressed for SPV.
Chasing, Sardar Patel were bowled out for 109 in 19.5 overs as Kapoor ended with figures of 5/39. Akash Kaul took 2/5.
In a Group D game, Gyan Bharti School, Saket, rode on Pushpakant’s 70 (49 balls, 8x4, 2x6) to secure a 38-run win over St George’s School.

Group H: Grand Columbus School 78 in 15.4 overs (Naseeb Singh 2/1) lost to Aravali International School (Faridabad) 80/4 in 10.4 overs (Naseeb Singh 23 not out).
