Kumble loses I-phone, credit cards at stadium

Bangalore, July 20: A practice session at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here cost former Indian captain and spin wizard Anil Kumble dearly as he lost his bag containing cash and other valuables.

Kumble's bag containing his Apple i-phone, credit cards and cash went missing yesterday, the police said today.

Captain of Indian Premier League team Royal Challengers' Bangalore, Kumble had left his bag, which also had four credit cards, one debit card, three club cards, two airways cards of Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines along with Rs 3,000 cash, on the ground when he went for practice yesterday.

But he found it missing when he came back, police told PTI.

"While other players had also left their bags on the ground, it was only Kumble's bag which was missing," police said.

A complaint has been registered in this regard in Cubbon Park Police station and is being investigated.
