Memorable moment: It has to be when I made Test debut against Zimbabwe in 1999. Getting my Test cap will always remain in my memory.

Forgettable moment: Losing in the World Cup final to India, that after we looked like winning it.

Favourite cuisine: I like to try the different kinds of food. I love curries, sea food. I like to go out with my family to restaurants.

Favourite drink: Red wine and champagne.

Favourite Stadium: It has to be Lord’s.

Other sports interested in: I usually play golf or football back home in my free time.

Question most asked: People most often ask me about my captaincy tenure with the Sri Lankan team.

Cricketing icons: I have learnt a lot from many people in my journey as a cricketer. There isn’t only one person.
