Mumbai Indians warmed up taking off Chennai Super Kings opener Faff du Plessis, run out, in the Lasith Malinga bowled opening over of the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League in Chennai.

Mumbai skipper Harbhajan Singh won the toss and asked holders Chennai to pad up.
