New Zealand smash 302, Taylor scores century

Pallekele (Sri Lanka): New Zealand made 302 for the loss of seven wickets against Pakistan in a World Cup Group A match here Tuesday.

Ross Taylor hit an unbeaten 131 while Martin Guptill scored 57 for New Zealand.

Umar Gul was the most successful bowler for Pakistan, taking three wickets for 32 runs in 10 overs.
