No evidence against Kundra, RR: BCCI panel

BCCI Vice-President Niranjan Shah is reported to have been quoted as saying that no evidence has been found against Raj Kundra, Rajasthan Royals and India Cements, owners of Chennai Super Kings. A two-member probe panel on Gurunath Meiyappan has submitted its report to BCCI this afternoon.

According to TV reports, the two member BCCI panel has submitted its report stating that Gurunath Meiyappan involvement in match-fixing has not been established, however, evidence shows he is guilty of betting.

With these developments, N Srinivasan may return to the BCCI fold, reports say.

The report will now be forwarded to IPL Governing Council which will take a final decision on August 2.
