Now, Manohar hits out at Srinivasan
Bengaluru: The latest to join in the list of hitting out at BCCI president N Srinivasan is former chief of the cricket board, Shashank Manohar, who directly blamed Srinivasan for people losing faith in the body.
Manohar was critical of Srinivasan and said he should have resigned from the post the moment his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan was dragged into the IPL spot fixing scandal.
"If you had the slightest of conscience, self-esteem and care for the board, you ought to have put in your papers the moment your son-in-law was arrested," Manohar was quoted as saying by leading tabloid. "You did nothing and as a result the board's reputation has taken a hit to the extent that the people have lost faith in this board."
Manohar also said that the truth regarding Meiyappan being the Team Principal of Chennai Super Kings would come out soon.
