Rain stops play in third England-India Test
England were 468 for three against India, a lead of 244 runs, when rain stopped play just 13 minutes into the third day of the third Test at Edgbaston here on Friday.
Alastair Cook was 188 not out and Eoin Morgan 50 not out when the umpires signalled for the covers and took the players off the field at 11:13am local times (1013GMT).
England lead the four-match series 2-0 and another victory here will mean they have both won this campaign and replaced India at the top of the ICC's Test Championship table.
Play is expected to start at 11.40 local times.
