Rohan stars in York Club victory

An all-round display by man of the match Rohan Rai (58, 4/21) coupled with Amrendur Rai’s 4/11 helped York Club beat Sankar Cricket Academy by five runs in the 1st GS Rai Under-19 cricket tournament at the Najafgarh Sports Complex on Wednesday.

The win also assured York Academy four points.
Batting first, York Club posted 108/4 in 20 overs, thanks to Rohan’s effort. In reply, Sankar Cricket Academy were bowled out for 103 in 17 overs. Only Mohit (32) could manage a double figure score, as Rohan alongwith Amrendur restricted their batting effort.
