The pressure on Team India's seniors was evident today as the selection committee decided to to drop Virender Sehwag and Zaheer Khan from playing XI.

The good news is Sachin Tendulkar has been retained despite poor form in the ongoing tour down under in Australia.

Chairman of the selection committee Krishnamachari Srikkanth and colleagues met in Mumbai to pick the squad for the Asia cup.

Yusuf Pathan and Ashok Dinda named in the squad, Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma also retained.
