Second ODI between Ind-Eng reduced to 23-over-a-side game
The second One-Day International between India and England has been reduced to a 23-over-a-side game after nearly five hours of play was lost today due to persistent drizzle.
The match would now commence at 11.30 p.m., IST.
It has been raining at Southampton on and off and the groundstaff had to work hard to make the Rose Bowl fit for play.
The first ODI was abandoned on Saturday, 7.2 overs into the England innings after India had scored 274 for seven from their allotted 50 overs.
