Shah Rukh Khan lashes out at comparisons

Enough is enough for Shah Rukh Khan. At a party here in the wee hours of Tuesday, the Kolkata Knight Riders owner minced no words to express how fed up he was with frequent comparisons between him and the team’s former captain Sourav Ganguly ever since the latter was dumped out of the franchise.

Seeking an excuse for being rude, Shah Rukh said, “Honestly, if we don’t outgrow this, it is embarrassing not only to us or to me, it’s also embarrassing for the great legend that Dada is.

We should get over this. Every time I come to Kolkata, you bring this up for a few headlines and some spicy tit-bits, which I think, is a little unfair.”

He further added: “I say this with all my love to everyone here that we should get over these little silly questions that keep coming up every now and then. Please excuse me for sounding a little rude. But please let’s move on.”
