Singh duo script LRC Club’s win

Lala Ram Charan Club rode on Paramveer Singh’s 107 and Parampreet Singh’s 49 to beat Essex Farm by three wickets in a DDCA League match here on Thursday.

Chasing 243 to win, Lala Ram Charan Club went past the target in 43 overs, largely thanks to Pramaveer and Parampreet. Manav Dham (4/29) was the pick of the bowlers for Essex Farm.
Earlier, Rohit Jhanjhariya (82) and Madhav Kaushik (61 n.o.) helped Essex Farm raise 242/9 in 45 overs.
In another two matches of the day, State Bank of India beat Engineers India Limited by five wickets while Subhania Club hammered Delhi Police by 84 runs.
Batting first, Subhania Club scored 255/6 in 45 overs. Viabhav Sharma (90 n.o.) was the lead scorer as Mohammad Atiq and Mohammad Mohshin added 68 and 46 respectively.
In reply, Delhi Police folded up for 171 in 36 overs.
