Sonnet edge out ONGC

Sonnet Club beat ONGC by three wickets in a closely fought semi-final of the Jubilant cricket tournament here on Saturday. Akash Yadav (65) anchored a tense 188-run chase for Sonnet Club in the company of Subodh Bhatti (40).

ONGC, batting first, were restricted to 187/9 in 50 overs, in face of some tight bowling by the Sonnet bowlers. Prem Dhendwal (3/25) and Gaurav Chauhan (2/44) were pick of the bowlers for Sonnet.
