Sri Lanka crush West Indies in World Twenty20
Sri Lanka crushed West Indies by nine wickets in their World Twenty20 Super Eights group one match at Pallekele stadium on Saturday.
West Indies were restricted to 129-5 in their 20 overs, with Marlon Samuels (50) and Dwayne Bravo (40) the team's main contributors.
Sri Lanka chased down the target in 15.2 overs for the loss of just one wicket, with Mahela Jayawardene scoring an unbeaten 65 and Kumar Sangakkara making 39 not out.
The top two teams from each of the two groups will qualify for the semi-finals.
