Sri Lanka defeats India by 51 runs

India lost to Sri Lanka by 51 runs in the eighth match of the ODI tri-series at the Gabba here Tuesday. This is Team India’s second consecutive loss after it was defeated by Australia in the last match.

Chasing 290, the Indian team was bowled out for 238. Virat Kohli top-scored for India with 66 while Irfan Pathan made 47. Sri Lankan fast bowler Thisara Perera took four wickets.
