Strauss opts to bat in 4th Test against India
England captain Andrew Strauss won the toss and elected to bat in the fourth and final cricket Test against India at the Oval here on Thursday.
India, trailing the series 0-3, have replaced injured Praven Kumar with left-arm paceman R.P. Singh. Praveen had suffered a thumb injury during the third Test at Edgbaston.
England have named an unchanged side that won the third Test.
