Subhania too hot for Alpine Club

Nikhil Choudhary’s unbeaten 55 coupled with three wicket hauls each from Kanishk Kumar and Shiva Singh helped Subhania Club hammer Alpine Club by 115 runs in the DDCA Under-16 Vijay Mehra cricket tournament here on Monday.

Batting first, Subhania Club scored 194/9 in 50 overs. Choudhary was the top-scorer as Tarun chipped in with 34. Vishwesh (4/10) was impressive with the ball for the Alpine Club.
In reply, Alpine Club folded up for 79 in 39 overs as Kumar and Singh ran through the line-up.
In the second match of the day, Raghubir Willowers beat Gush Club by three wickets to secure four points.
Chasing 150, Raghubir Willowers overhauled the target in 31 overs, with Vinay Kumar top-scoring with 33.
Earlier, Gush Club posted 149 in 49 overs on the back of Yash Madan’s 48. Akash Khatri had figures of 3/33, while Sidharth Dhawan and Vikram Dahiya took two wickets each.
