Suman to play for India Green

Hyderabad, Sept. 28: Tirumalsetti Suman will turn up for India Green when the Challenger Series for NKP Salve Trophy commences in Indore from October 8-11.

The dashing right-hander did well at the recently concluded Moin-Ud Dowla tournament sounded confident of doing well at the tournament. “It’s a big break at the national level for me,” said the dashing right-hander who has played many memorable knocks turning up for the Deccan Chargers.

“I am honoured to be part of this series and will do my best to perform and climb higher in the ranks,” Suman said, while speaking to this newspaper. Speaking about his form, he said, “I am in good nick. The ongoing HCA Zonal tournament is proving to be an ideal practice session ahead of this tournament.”

Meanwhile, Suman will be joined in the side by former Ranji teammate Ambati Rayudu who has ditched Hyderabad and is set to turn up for Baroda in the upcoming Ranji season.

Yuvraj Singh and Dinesh Karthik will lead India Blue and India Red respectively in the event, while India Green will be captained by Subramanium Badrinath.
