Tandon slams ton in team’s massive win
Milind Tandon smashed a century as RP Academy thrashed Sarojini Nagar by 122 runs in the DDCA hot weather cricket tournament in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Batting first, RP Academy posted 288/6 in 40 overs thanks to the knocks by Tandon (107) and Rahul Parshad (93).
In reply, Sarojini Nagar managed 166/8 in 40 overs. Sumit Mathur (39) was the top-scorer for the team.
For RP Academy, Vishal scalped three wickets, conceding 27.
In another match, incisive bowling by Pawan Suyal (3/28) and Yogesh Rana (3/30) helped Telefunken Club beat MTNL by seven wickets.
Batting first, MTNL put up 127 in 30.5 overs. Pawan Suyal and Yogesh Rana picked three wickets each for Telefunken.
In the chase, Telefunken Club achieved the target in 18.3 overs riding on Vikas Hatwala’s 45 and Ankit’s 32.

MTNL 127 in 30.5 overs (Pawan Yadav 37; Pawan Suyal 3/28, Yogesh Rana 3/30) lost to Telefunken Club 128/3 in 18.3 overs (Vikas Hathwala 45, Ankit 32).
