Telefunken Club enter final

Telefunken Club beat Collage Group by four runs to book a berth in the final of the 38th Lala Raghubir Singh hotweather cricket tournament at the Modern School, Barakhamba Road, grounds in the capital on Thursday.
Put in to bat, Telefunken Club scored 267/8 in 40 overs, largely thanks to knocks from Gaurav Kochar (77) and Vikas Singh Hathwala (69). Deepak Khattri also chipped in with an unbeaten 59.

In reply, Ishwaran Abhimanu (62) led the Collage Group charge but could not see his team through as they were bowled out for 263 in 40 overs.
Ankit Dabas (4/43), Saurav Sharma (3/43) and Yogesh Rana (2/45) shared the spoils for Telefunken Club.
In a quarter-final game, Hargopal Cricket Club hammered Sporting Club by 102 runs.
A quick fire century by Delhi Under-16 captain Himmat Singh (106, 65b, 4x4, 10x6) coupled with Sameer Qureshi’s 90 helped Hargopal Club post 349/5 in 40 overs.
Gaurav Tomar (65) and Naman Sharma (63) were the other prominent scorers.
In reply, Sporting Club were restricted to 247 in 32 overs as Avinash Yadav (5/71) and Sunil Dagar (3/70) ripped through their line-up.
Narain Bisht top-scored with 60 while Vision Panchal, Deepak Kumar and Rajesh Sharma added 35 each.
Singh was named Adidas man of the match.
