Thigh strain rules out Finn of the remainder of the Tour match
England fast bowler Steven Finn was ruled out of the remainder of the tour match against India A at Brabourne stadium here due to a thigh injury. Finn had left the field with an injury inside the first hour of play on Day One after feeling discomfort to his right thigh and underwent a scan in the evening.
“Steven Finn has been ruled out of the remainder of the three-day game with a right thigh strain,” team spokeswoman Rhian Evans stated. “He will be assessed over the next couple of days to determine a rehabilitation programme,” she added.
Finn took the new ball on Tuesday and bowled three overs in his first spell after India A chose to bat. England didn't miss him as James Anderson got the last Indian wicket in the form of Vinay Kumar in the first over itself.
