We are well prepared, says Moody
With four of their players alleged to have ‘fixed’ an Indian Premier League game early this year, the Sunrisers Hyderabad went about their business in a calm manner at the PCA Stadium here on Monday afternoon. “We are only talking about tomorrow’s match,” said coach Tom Moody as his players ground out a two-hour training session.
Having based themselves in Mohali during the last few days, Sunrisers are in the know of the conditions and will look to make the most of it when they face formidable Trinidad & Tobago in their Champions League T20 here in the night game on Tuesday. “We are well prepared and well rested,” said Moody. “We have had a few days off and have now to target the next qualifying stage, i.e. the semi-finals.”
“Knowing the home conditions is clearly an advantage. We have had three competitive games and we have played good and competitive cricket, but now it will be tougher. “
Tuesday’s encounter will see them face the very unpredictable Sunil Narine, and Moody said the team were prepared.
