Yadav propels team into semis

Lalit Yadav scalped 2/26 before scoring 74 as Sporting Club beat Surinder Khanna Academy by six wickets in the quarter-finals of the RS Rawat Memorial Under-19 cricket tournament here on Sunday.

Chasing 176, Sporting Club overhauled the target in 28.3 overs, with Yadav leading the way. Praveen Jakhar (38), Manih Tehlan (32 n.o.) also made useful contributions. Earlier, Surinder Khanna Academy posted 175/7 on the back of Ayush Kharab’s 48.
