Yashwanth’s 208 seals deal for Greenlands

Yashwanth Reddy’s unbeaten 208 helped Greenlands score a 223-run win over Starlets XI in the ‘B’ division schools one-day league cricket match played in Hyderabad. Batting first, Greenlands made a formidable 336 for 1 with Yashwanth’s standout innings leading the way.

His knock contained 19 boundaries and 14 sixes and off 140 deliveries. Yashwanth was well-supported by teammates Sandeep Mandhar Goud (44) and Rohit Bharadwaj (61).

For the bowling side, Mohd Taha Sheikh was the only successful bowler, taking one wicket while conceding 46 runs.
In reply, Starlets XI were all out for 113 with Shubham Yadav being the pick of the lot, scalping five wickets while conceding 28 runs. For the batting side, T. Vignesh Kumar was the top-scorer with 21.

In an ‘A’ division one-day league encounter, Continental made 237 riding on Abhishek Ashok’s valiant knock of 114. Abhishek was well-supported by teammate Yathin Reddy who made 65. In reply, MCC were 15 without loss.
