York Club win in Rai cricket

Unbeaten centuries from Rohan Rai and Vikas Singh Hathwala coupled with Shankar’s 5/49 helped York Club beat Sanjeev Sharma Academy by 50 runs in the 1st G.S. Rai Under-19 cricket tournament here.

Chasing 260, Sanjeev Sharma Academy’s Jitender Singh — who had earlier scalped three wickets — top-scored with 89 but ran out of partners.
Earlier, Rai and Hathwala scored 116 not out and 103 not out respectively, as York Club posted 259/5 in 30 overs.
