1 detained for threats over phone

A day after the crime branch received a complaint from the director of Super Cassettes Industries, that senior officers of the company have been receiving threatening phone calls with callers introducing themselves as Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, former Union railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Lok Sabha MP Shatrughan Sinha, the police has detained a suspect and is questioning him.
Vedprakash Chanan, 60, who is the director of the T-Series company since 1983, had registered a complaint saying that a former employee could be behind the incident. He said Kishan, a resident of east Delhi’s Shakarpur, worked with the company as a temporary consultant from September 2011 to June this year.
Vedprakash told the police that company representatives met Mr Yadav and Mr Sinha to bring the phone calls to their notice and they made it clear that no such calls were made by them.

Goel demands an apology from Kejriwal
New Delhi, Sept. 25: Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel has served Arvind Kejriwal with legal notice for making defamatory statements and allegations and sought an apology failing which he will file a criminal case against the AAP leader.
Mr Goel in the legal notice said Kejriwal made defamatory statements deliberately and with malafide intention through his pre-recorded telephone messages and radio broadcasts.
In a statement, the Delhi BJP said that in view of the “mischievous and baseless” allegations of corruption against Mr Goel by AAP leader, a criminal complaint will be filed against him.
“The Delhi BJP president has already served a legal notice to him. The reply given by Kejriwal has no specific details that could prove even an iota of the allegations levelled against the Delhi BJP president. Hence the Delhi BJP president is compelled to file a criminal complaint against Kejriwal,” the statement said.
However, replying to Mr Goel’s notice, AAP convenor Kejriwal refused to tender an apology saying there was no question of tendering an apology for his public statements.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
