17-yr girl found dead in Dwarka

The body of a 17-year-old girl, who had left her house on Saturday morning, was found in the bushes at a desolate stretch in Dwarka on Sunday morning. There were injury marks on the head of the girl, who lived in servant quarters of Lady Hardinge Medical College here.
The body was discovered in Dwarka Sector 14 on Saturday night, confirmed the police. The deceased use to live with her brother in the Lady Hardinge Medical College compound.
“The girl left her residence on Saturday morning and was found dead in late hours the same day,” said the police. A case of murder has been registered and the body has been sent for post-mortem. “We are awaiting the post-mortem report for ascertaining the exact cause of death,” said investigating officers. They added that there is possibility of a sexual assault in the case.
Initial investigations suggested there was “sexual activity” but it could not be confirmed whether it was “consensual or forceful”. Doctors suspect it could be a case of rape.
“There are signs of sexual activity. Only a post-mortem will ascertain whether it was consensual or not. We are investigating the matter,” said deputy commissioner of police (southwest) Sharad Aggarwal. The girl was attacked with a blunt object on her head, the police said. Initial probe also suggests that the girl was strangled and later the attackers disfigured her face to prevent identification. Broken stones with blood stains were recovered from the spot.
Police officers also said that the deceased’s brother had said that before leaving the deceased stated that she was going to R.K. Puram with friends for New Year celebrations.
The exact cause of death can only be ascertained after receiving the post-mortem report, added, DCP Agarwal.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
