26-yr man stabbed to death
A 26-year-old youth was stabbed to death by four unidentified men in Anand Parbat area of central Delhi on Wednesday evening with the police suspecting personal enmity as the motive behind the incident.
The deceased, Manish Gupta, a resident of Nai Basti in Anand Parbat, was returning home from work when the four suspects intercepted him on Ghatti Road close to his residence, police officials said. A scuffle ensued between them in which Manish was stabbed multiple times in his abdomen.
A pedestrian who saw Manish alerted the police. Cops rushed Manish to the nearest hospital where he was declared brought dead. Manish was working as a mechanic at a relative’s shop in Karol Bagh. The police has ruled out robbery as the motive behind the crime since all belongings of Manish were found intact.
“Personal enmity seems to be the motive behind the crime. Some suspects are being questioned,” a senior police official said.

Six arrested for low-floor bus robbery

Dec. 9: A special team of the Delhi police’s crime branch on Thursday apprehended six men allegedly involved in a low-floor bus robbery case in south Delhi.
The accused, Salim, Tilli, Baapi Biswas, Gopal, Sonu and Manoj were arrested from DDA Park in Kalindi Kunj after the police sleuths received a tip off on their whereabouts. The accused were allegedly trying to sell stolen goods.
On Monday, the six men had robbed two passengers in a low-floor bus in Okhla, the police said.
