28-yr man hangs self to death

A 28-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his residence on Central Delhi’s Deshbandhu Gupta Road on Saturday evening.
According to the police, the matter came to light at around 5.45 pm on Saturday after the deceased’s neighbours saw smoke coming out of his room and informed the local police and fire department. The police suspect that the deceased, identified as Atul Jaldon, had deliberately set his room on fire before hanging himself. Though no suicide note was recovered from the spot, the police found a diary in which the victim had stated that he was not happy and was ending life on his own.
The police said Atul, a native of Uttar Pradesh, was living alone on the second floor of house number-1664, Gali number-2, for the past few years. A senior police official said that Atul was found hanging from a ceiling fan when firemen doused the fire.
The body was taken to a nearby government hospital for post-mortem examination and it was later handed over to his father, Ram Sewak Jaldon. Atul worked at an interior decoration shop in the locality.

Ghaziabad, Nov. 21: A teenaged girl, handed over to a moneylender by her father who failed to repay a loan of `15,000, was rescued by the police from Ghaziabad on Sunday, an official said. Sub-divisional magistrate Pushpa Devrar said: “The police has informed me that the girl has been rescued today (Sunday) evening. The police is looking into other aspects of the case such the girl’s age and the other claims made by the moneylender.”
The 14-year-old girl’s mother had filed a police complaint after her husband gave the teenager away on November 15.
The girl’s mother, a resident of Goyna village, alleged that the police was apathetic to her complaint and did not rescue her daughter for almost a week. I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
