2nd phase of Census begins, CM enlisted

The second and last phase of Census operations started in the city on Wednesday with the enumeration of chief minister Sheila Dikshit. The first phase of Census, named the House Listing and Housing Census, was conducted from April to September, 2010. The second phase, Population Enumeration, is being conducted

simultaneously February 9 to 28. Around 30,000 enumerators will visit every house in city to contact families and collect information on around 29 questions.
Around 5,000 supervisors have also been deployed to make this exercise smooth and purposeful.
In Delhi, a Revision Round will be conducted from March 1 to 5 to make additions and deletions to carry out corrections due to deaths and births taking place after February 28,
