3 accused arrested, 2 on the run

A special team of Delhi police arrested the driver and gunman who had fled with the bank cash van carrying `67.5 lakhs. However, the police is yet to recover the cash from the accused. The driver Gautam and Sandeep Kumar, the gunman and their associate Arun Singh, 33, were arrested late on Wednesday.
Kumar and Gautam were held in Bulandshahr while Singh was apprehended from Samalkha in Delhi, said JCP (special cell) R.S. Krishna.
“They told us that the cash is with one of their associates. Efforts are on to nab him,” said the official.
Meanwhile, a 14-year-old girl was raped in Mehrauli on Wednesday. The victim was alone at her Paryavaran Complex house when the accused, Prabhat Kumar, 20, an electrician, barged in at 5.30 pm and started making immoral gestures.
She was taken to AIIMS where a medical test confirmed rape after which a case was registered.
