3 girls sold by sadhvi gang recovered in city

Two days after seven persons, including a 57-year-old Sadhvi, were arrested for allegedly kidnapping children from south and southeast Delhi and selling them off to couples in the national capital region, three girl children were rescued by Delhi police on Thursday.
“We have recovered three more children who had recently been trafficked by the gang. They are aged between four to seven years,” said H.G.S Dhaliwal, DCP (south).
While two girls, aged four and seven, were rescued from Noida, the third, who is eight-year-old, was rescued from southeast Delhi’s Dakshinpuri area.
“Various police teams were working on the case and the girls were handed over to the local police by the childless couples who had bought them from the Sadhvi’s gang,” said a senior police official.
Sources said three minor girls had been kidnapped from various locations in southeast Delhi and handed over to couples for a price ranging from `50,000 to `60,000.
“The deals had been struck after taking into account the couple’s socio-economic background and desperation. While the going rate was mostly around `50,000 per child, on several instances the gang had struck deals for double that amount,” the investigating police officer said.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
