3 women slashed in fresh blade attack at Mangolpuri

Three girls were attacked with blades by bikers in Mangolpuri on Saturday evening, days after the Delhi police claimed to have busted the gang allegedly involved in similar incidents reported from the area in the past.
Sources said three girls were attacked with a blade in the J, Y and the D blocks of Mangolpuri on Saturday evening. Eyewitnesses have told the police that two persons on a Black Hero Honda Hunk motorcycle attacked the three victims but the police claimed that only one accused was involved in the incident
The local police barricaded all the entry and exit points to the area. The three girls, in early 20s, were rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.
The incident comes just a week after DCP (outer), Chhaya Sharma claimed to have busted the gang involved in blade attacks reported from the area in the past. She was not available for comments after the incident on Saturday.
