35-year-old murdered in Gurgaon
A 35-year-old woman was killed by unidentified assailants who barged into her house at DLF, phase-3, in Gurgaon late on Wednesday.
The assailants killed the woman, who was director of leading play school branch, after locking her maid in the bathroom. The police is suspecting that the assailants may have had personal grudge as no valuables were missing. However, nothing has been ruled out as yet.
According to the Gurgaon police, Nargis Juneja was in her house along with the maid, while her son had gone for tuition, when the assailants managed to enter the house where she lived on the ground floor. Her father-in-law used to stay on the first floor. Her husband too was not in the house at the time of the incident.
The assailants first took both the maid Nargis in the bathroom and subsequently locked the maid inside. Nargis also raised an alarm which was reportedly heard by a private security guard.
However, her voice was muffled by the assailants as a result of which the security guard did not take the noise seriously. The assailants then slit Nargis’s throat with a knife, which is the cause of her death, and fled.
